Then: Marion was an original member of CSA and then Midnight Sun. Marion played lead guitar and sang backup. Since Midnight Sun Marion has played in many bands. He played in the Legend Band with Chip and Danny.
Now: Marion is and his wife Cheryl live on a mountain top in Mt. Jackson, Virginia. He has two grown children, Jesse Lynn (24) and Sean Thomas (21). They have a one year old granddaughter, Kia who lives with her mom Jesse and dad Jason in Texas. Marion is a mechanic for the city of Harrisonburg. Cheryl also works for the city of Harrisonburg, writing grants for the city.
Marion began playing guitar as a youngster through the late sixties and in the seventies started playing one of his Father's pedal steel guitars. Marion has written pedal steel parts and recorded for songwriters. Types of music played: Country, Country-rock, Southern Rock, Rock, Blues, Pop and Jazz. Marion has played with bands for over 20 years. They include:

Fond Memories of Midnight Sun: Coles Point Tavern days, partying in U-Haul truck at Gordon and Peg's when we helped them move to their first house on Bartee Road. First time CSA played "live" at Forest View Civic Center.
