Kenny Bartlett

Nickname: Bozo - Named by Brooks Taylor because of Kenny's red hair reminded him of Bozo the Clown.

Then: Kenny joined Midnight Sun in 1971 when the band decided to add brass to the band. He was a friend of Brooks Taylor who asked Kenny to try out for the band. Kenny played trumpet but could also play bass guitar when Danny Armstrong switched from bass to lead. Kenny has not played in any other bands since Midnight Sun.

Kenny also owns his own business, MPH Productions. He video tapes races in Richmond. One of Kenny's prized possessions is Kenny Smith's trumpet which was given to him by Kenny's mother, Zola Smith.

Fond Memories of Midnight Sun: 409 Club - B.T. fell over a railing and was knocked out cold. The guys in the band told B.T. that one of the "gents" from the club had taken him to his car and had taken care of him.

Favorite Song that Midnight Sun performed: "Beginnings" by Chicago and "Vehicle" by Ides of March.

Kenny's family: (L-R) Matt, Debbie , Rusty, and Kenny
